COST OF SERVICES
We accept Medicaid, and your group health insurance may pay for part of
the services. If not otherwise covered, we do charge a fee for
counseling services based on a sliding scale according to family income
and size. During your initial visit we will ask for financial
information and you will be told exactly what the services will cost.
LENGTH OF SERVICES
This depends on several things - the nature of your family’s concerns
and how hard your family works to solve the difficulties. Overcoming a
personal or emotional problem is a lot of work. The counselor can give
your family the tools, but the work must be done by you.
QUALIFICATIONS OF
COUNSELORS
The Center has an extraordinary 11 licensed clinicians with backgrounds
and training in children's mental health with all the appropraite
training, supervision, experience, and knowledge to be certified by the
State of Illinois as experts in their respective fields. Furthermore,
every one of our supervisors has a background in children's mental
health. We know of no other non-hospital setting in the State of
Illinois that can equal these impressive credentials. In addition, the
Center's counselors have a cumulative experience in working with
children and families of 265 years!
