The Center for Children's Services' GRADS/GED Program is a GED and job skills training program.

GRADS is Getting Reluctant Adolescents to Drop back in Successfully

Who is Eligible?

Any Vermilion County youth between 16 and 21 years old.

 

You must provide your:

  • Birth certificate

  • Picture identification

  • Social Security Card

  • Proof of address

  • Proof of income for the last six months

  • Proof of number of people in the family

This program is free of charge - there is NO COST for any person who qualifies!!!

The GRADS/GED Program is funded by the Vermilion County Job Training Partnership in cooperation with Danville Area Community College

GED classes are held Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm

Paid Work Experience

Enrolled students earn money while learning to prepare and serve meals at the Café on the lawn, or learning landscaping techniques for landscaping
